A few housekeeping items …

We wanted to alert everyone that there have been moose sightings/encounters up at Ironton very recently.  There is a Cow Moose with her calf roaming around the trails.  Remember to give the Moose A LOT of room.  If you see them, allow them to leave the area, or better yet, go the other direction.  Additionally, Moose do not tolerate curious/aggressive dogs.  Please keep your dog under control – maybe have a leash handy.

Speaking of dogs, please remember to pick up after your 4-legged family member.  Bring a shovel or bag and scoop waste off of the trail.

Speaking of shovels, if you see a spot in the parking area that needs shoveling or there is fresh snow, don’t hesitate to clear it out.  CDOT plows when they can and a benevolent land owner plows when he sees a need, but help is always appreciated.

Have fun and enjoy the snow!
