We wanted to let you know that there have been a recent series of moose/skier encounters with a more serious incident on the Ironton trails today. While the skier assures us that they will be o.k., we would rather not have anyone else put in harm’s way.
Because of this, we have stopped grooming and highly recommend that you avoid the Ironton area and do not ski on the trails, possibly for the remainder of the season.
It was a great winter of skiing and we hope to see you next year!
