We wish you all a happy, healthy Holiday season and hope that you have a chance to get out and play in this long-awaited snow.

We have been experiencing some equipment difficulties of late (parts getting lost enroute from Canada etc.), but hope to have everything running smoothly very soon.  You will, of course, be the first to know when we have groomed and the track set.

When parking at Ironton, keep in mind that the highway traffic is not required to slow down when passing our parking area.  Please keep your dogs controlled and all other family members away from the highway.  Don’t forget that there is additional parking just south of the main parking area on the west side of 550 at the Larson Brothers Mine.  If you want a less stressful parking experience, consider going before 10 am and/or after 2pm.

Additionally, we have placed new Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) signs with information on the Moose in our area.  Please take the time to read the signs and follow the suggested actions should you encounter any Moose.  We would like to coexist peacefully with all the wildlife in our area, but we need everyone to do their part.

Think Snow!
